Ozona Blue Grilling is one of my favorite places for waterfront dining and it is located in quaint Ozona Florida. Whether taking the family out for dinner or meeting colleagues for lunch, this is the place. Located at 125 Orange Street, just off Alternate 19 in Palm Harbor Florida, you want to be sure to check this great restaurant out.
At Ozona Blue Grilling you (and the kids) can come in your bathing suits and sit pool-side or under the cabana while you enjoy your meal and/or drinks. Naturally, there is also dining inside or on the terrace near the outside Tiki bar. Weekends normally offer live bands playing outside and you can dance the night away! Call to see which band is playing (727-789-4540) or to make reservations.
Ozona Blue Grilling has been around since 2006 and is one of the most popular local restaurants. Everything is excellent, from the Ahi Tuna to the Grouper dinner or the Mediterranean Flatbread! I have never had a meal there that I did not enjoy. Come live the Florida lifestyle, enjoy live entertainment and great food at Ozona Blue Grilling.
Ozona Florida always has a minimal number of homes for sale due to the fact that it is such a small community. Located west of Palm Harbor, south of Crystal Beach and just north of Dunedin and Honeymoon Island State Park, Ozona Florida lies on the shores of St Joseph’s Sound and the Gulf of Mexico and has actually been incorporated into Palm Harbor 34683. This quaint seaside village was once a fishing village with not much else in the area. Today it is a refuge from the hustle and bustle of modern life where you can retreat to peace and quiet but still be close enough to all of the modern conveniences.
Incorporated into Greater Palm Harbor Florida, Ozona is zoned for some of the best schools in Pinellas County. It is also convenient to the University of South Florida campuses in Tampa and St Petersburg as well as being ‘just down the road’ from the Tarpon Springs campus of St Petersburg College. The Pinellas Trail offers 47 miles of biking and hiking trail that connects the entire county from north to south. The trail also connects Ozona to Wall Springs Park, a few miles up the road in Palm Harbor.
Ozona is an eclectic combination of small bungalows and multi-million dollar waterfront homes with a feeling of ‘neighborhood’ that you don’t often encounter. Here you will truly find something for every budget.
Ohana Cafe is located at 306 North Orange Street in Ozona Florida, right next to the post office. This is without a doubt, my FAVORITE place to eat! Ohana means ‘family’ in Hawaiian and that is exactly what it is: a family run cafe where YOU are treated like part of their family! Teresa and her family are originally from Honolulu and they are the owners of this great eating establishment.
The menu is varied and healthy! Looking for vegan? They have it! Need your meat fix? They have that as well! Gluten free? Not a problem! And they also serve beer and wine if you are planning on a celebration or just like a glass of wine with your meal. Whatever they serve is made FRESH daily in their kitchen. They make fantastic smoothies and
wonderful soups too! If you are not sure about something in an item, ask to have it left out. I asked about the spinach in the smoothie and was told I could have it left out OR try it with spinach and if I did not like it, they would replace it for one without! Not too many places respond like that! By the way, I tried it and LOVED it!
Closed Mondays, they are open 6 days a week but check their hours, since they do vary from day to day! There is often live entertainment which includes hula dancing! How is that for getting the feel of the islands right here in little Ozona Florida? See you at Ohana Cafe! Aloha!
